Jennifer Poston received both her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders (2001) and her Ph.D. in Clinical Audiology (2005) from James Madison University. After completing her clinical fellowship at the University of Virginia Medical Center, she continued her career in various academic hospital settings, working at Eastern Virginia Medical School, the VA Health Care System in North Jersey and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, where she served as Clinical Director of the Balance & Hearing Center. Dr. Poston returned to Virginia and has been working at Otolaryngology Associates & Advanced Hearing Services in Fairfax since 2024. For most of her career, she has worked in adult diagnostics, implantables and amplification. When not at work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling anywhere and everywhere, reading and attempting new crafty hobbies.
Dr. Poston is incredibly excited and honored to be part of the Association of Virginia Audiologists, advocating for audiologists in the ever-changing healthcare landscape.
