Dr. Imajo earned her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and spent several years teaching kindergarten before pursuing a career in audiology. She returned to school at the University of Virginia, where she obtained her master’s degree in audiology, and later earned her Doctor of Audiology from Salus University in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Imajo has practiced audiology in Richmond since 2000, with a special interest in advanced hearing aid technology. After working in an ENT practice, she spent several years in private practice. In 2011, she co-founded Richmond Hearing Doctors to gain the flexibility to provide individualized, patient-centered care without the constraints of a large organization.
Dr. Imajo is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. A Richmond resident for over 40 years, she enjoys spending her free time at the river with her husband, son and daughter.
